One of the standout features of Tortas al Fuego is its delectable offerings. Diners like Zach O. highlight the rich, fatty chorizo paired with stringy cheese and refreshing avocado, making each bite a memorable experience. The ambiance at Tortas al Fuego complements the delicious food perfectly. We came here four times at all hours of the day during our week stay in CDMX. A torta al pastor with a fresh orange juice from the stand 20ft away and you'll be good to go!!

I came here for a pre New Year's Eve dinner based on some of the online reviews. I really wasn't in the mood for tacos again, and since this place is famous for their tortas O ordered a torta pechiga asada con queso. It included Chipotle sauce which was not that spicey at all thankfully. This torta de pollo wasnt the cheapest torta that they have on their menu, but it certainly was delicious. This restaurant was really busy, and it was somewhat confusing about where to place my order. People needed to squeeze past me as I stood their waiting to order which took several minutes. In retrospect, I could have found a table and been helped by a Server, but it was all good. I actually sat on a bar stool along their bar table. This restaurant was pretty decent and I enjoyed the food!

This place is a must in CDMX! The best torta in CDMX and one of the best I've ever had. This is torta de chorizo con queso and it was amazing. The chorizo was fatty and rich, the queso was stringy, and the avocado was refreshing in each bite. The whole place is a vibe and the way they work the trompo to slice the al pastor is magic. My friend had the torta de al pastor and it was fantastic too. If you're in CDMX, this better be near the top of your food list!

Hours on Yelp aren't accurate as they had desayunos listed as desde de 8am on the menu, but I didn't ask to confirm exactly what they were. They definitely stay open later than 11 as well as they had signs saying they stop serving alcohol at 1am. Stopped by for a late-ish dinner around 9pm and was able to be seated immediately although it was a pretty full house. It's much bigger on the inside than it looks from the front. Ordered a cubana con corona ($55), sopa de tortilla ($38), and a torta de pastor con queso ($65). Everything was fabulous. The torta was delicious and more sizeable than expected. However the star of the show was the tortilla soup. It was SO good, probably the best I've had in CDMX so far. And also probably the cheapest. It's certainly not a fancy place but the service was excellent. Only complaint is that I had absolutely zero cell service inside (Telcel) but not their fault. However wifi (even limited) would be amazing. Would definitely return, this is a gem.

I would give this place 5 stars, except when I got back to my place, I realized that one of the tortas that I was given was not my order and something else. It was okay and I ate it, but it was the Milanese and not the Lomo Adobado that I was really looking forward to. The other guy who ended up getting my torta was probably equally as surprised and disappointed. I got the tortas to go from the stand out front. They were loaded with meat and I was able to accurately order using my limited spanish. Maybe next time I'm in CDMX, I'll eat inside and ensure there is no mix up! Cheap, made to order, filling, and tasty. They are also open late. If you are feeling like a torta and you are in the area, give them a try.

My wife and I recently visited Tortas Al Fuego for dinner and had a nice experience. We split an order of Tacos Pastor and a Lomo Adobado Torta. The tacos had soft savory tortillas and were filled with tender pastor meat and juicy pineapple. The torta had soft lightly toasted bread filled with tender juicy flavorful lomo (beef tenderloin), juicy tomatoes, creamy avocado and crisp onions. Overall, a good spot for quality tacos and tortas.

Came here twice for the al pastor, first gringa then as a torta. Coffee was fine as well. Open 24 hours with outdoor and indoor seating. Very reasonable prices. Great salsas too!
